No PowerNo PowerNo Power

These are everywhere on this trip, I can only imagine how much power they save every day in every hotel, they shut the power off as soon as you leave the room.
Well the time has come faster and sooner than I hoped, I'm going to miss Thailand, I just hope the red revolution gives the people the truly democratic election they want, before things get to bloody..

My final and lasting impression will always be of the smile's,the smiles of every stranger guy, girl, or mix you pass, but mostly the smiles on the children I have never seen so many kids who have it so hard, yet they smile more than any of the spoiled children we have in North America. So much simple happiness and joy in Thailand I could spend a month typing about it and never be able to put it into words, I hope after I get home and I can edit post all video's I've made it will be easier tho show,if a picture says a thousand words.. and good video can say a million.

I wrote the above passage before I left Thailand once I landed in Manila I checked the news and discovered that basically as I flew out of Thailand the uprising was dying down. Well too late now I'm writing this from Manila I have never seen such poverty, but
No TPNo TPNo TP

These are in every high class, and low class bathroom in Thailand, in low class area's they replace TP completely
Ill talk more about Manila in my next post.

Unless hotels have changed since the last time I was in hotels in North America every hotel has all; power in the room tied to your key/key card as soon as you leave the room all the lights and the AC turn off. Every toilet has a half flush/full flush option at least in the places that have a toilet. From what I've seen Thailand has done a lot more than any other place to be more efficient.

One final observation I haven't mentioned yet is the water sprayer beside every toilet, a lot of places don't even have toilet paper.. I learned quickly to bring my own along but that can be annoying during the Songkram festival when every time you step outside you get completely soaked.

In summary I loved Thailand, I wish I was still there but I have a tour of Manila setup for today and finally sometime on my vacation to go with the flow although I'm sure it will involve more snorkeling.

This was a sign I believe a traveler gave the bar, the bartender wasn't sure what it said other than "welcome"

Awesome Sign
Man the internet is cool and that sign is awesome. I've heard about all sorts of bad translations out there. Hot Beer, Lousy Food, Mad Lady, No service? It sounds like watson lake. See you in the summer and have an awesome trip.
