these are larvae inside the fruit cask. But, how were the bugs in the Amazon? Absolutely tame, compared to my last summer in Maine. Hardly any mosquitoes. As long as the pirhanas don't eat you, you can have a really nice time...

we heard some huge noises, and only me and an intrepid guy from israel dared to investigate. I'm always up for adventure. Well, this big tree had crashed down.
