The road ahead
Setting off on the start of the horseshoe, an easy scramble up and down two of Snowdon's ridges.
Mountain paparazzi
The sun comes out and Davidas gets into action.
Looking for the sun
Ben and the others head up into the clouds.
All fours
Matt tackles a short scramble.
Admiring the view
Davidas stops to take a look around.
Not ours
Two people behind us in the Crib Goch traffic jam.
Hello mum!
Me.
Waiting for oatcakes
A gull, of which type I don't remember.
Not lost. Just curious.
Peter, Matt and Davidas check the map.
Top appearance
Peter heads off towards the summit.
Do look down
The view appears, heading towards the top of Crib Goch.
My halo
I think Peter said this called a Brocken Spectre. Our shadows on a cloud, anyway.
Trying for effect
Ben and Davidas try to make halos too.
Little people
Another group, another ridge.
Stairway to heaven
But the world looks pretty good too.
Careful steps
Peter, still ascending, and the view keeps getting better.
Feeling blue
Richard heading over the remains of winter, a very long time ago.
Clouds below
Peter and Ben.
All the little ants go marching
The paths up Snowdon converge for the final motorway to the summit.
Huey, you're a star
The weather god shows his benevolent face.
Huey, make up your mind
The other side of Snowdon was still cloaked in cloud.

From "snowed on" in Slovenia, to Snowdon in Wales!
Are your destinations developing a 'theme' Jacqui?! :) Nice evocative shots... but I wouldn't expect anything less from you!
