Koh Phangan is an island in the Gulf of Southern Thailand. I think there is something about the way that they island is positioned, sort of like the Bermuda triangle, except people don’t go missing, just time flies at a warp speed.

I have been keeping my hands to myself and staying out of trouble. I spent a few days in Choloklum with my friend TJ swimming, eating, and having some good quality girl time. Saturday night, Por and I took the one hour ferry ride to Koh Samui to catch up with a friend. We had great plans to go out and paint the island red right after we stopped by the birthday party of a friend of a friend, but instead sat in an art shop until 4 o’clock in the morning eating, drinking, and catching up. We were enjoying ourselves so much that none of us thought to do anything put sit, completely crowded, surrounded by new friends, and reconnecting with old friends. In fact it was so crowded that in order to get food, it was easier to call out to the person closest to the table, have them make a plate of food, and then crowd surf the plate all the way to you.

I have now returned to the jungle with Por. Yesterday, I was determined to write some emails and update this blog, but the hammock had sucked me in and would NOT let me go. Lot of leisure reading, lying on the beach, 2 hour coffee breaks every morning (even instant coffee tastes good here!).

Thinking of you all!

Training and leisure
I am thinking that the type of training (leisure) you are engaging in will lead to your improved ability at Triathlons. Specifically the intervals. I am sure it will carry you into the bracket that will beat my interval times altogether. I'll have to start training with the Hammock. You Go Girl!
