Idyllic Paul -- your pictures are fantastic. It truly looks like you are living in an idyllic setting with some space to breathe and reflect. Since Julie is working at the University of Otago, you must be fairly near a city too, but your living accommodations make it seem like you are isolated from that (e.g., long stretches of beach without people)./I can see that you've been able to find time to fish and keep the larder stocked. And I got a chuckle out of the sheep races./Thanks for sharing your adventures. -- David
Julie--Are you really working?? Wow--looks so beautiful where you are; all I need do is look out my living room window view the dog-pee spotted snow, now melting into lacey black crisps at the edges, cars parked up and down the street at homes where the homeowner owns no shovel, and bare trees and I just know you must be anxious to leave that and get this--NOT!!! Happy you were able to do this.
