So we have now moved on from Delhi to Agra which is in Uttar Pradesh and is home to the famous Taj mahal which we visited today.
Our first train journey only lasted just over 3 hours and was remarkably calm!!! Yes we were in 3 storey high bunk beds surrounded by indians, with herds of sellers passing through the carriage every second, selling everything from tea to nuts! but we managed to meet a lovely indian family (mum, dad and daughter) who sat with us and gave us loads of advise on where to go and what to see, they wrote it all down for us and even gave us their email address.
In Agra we have met a man called Tony (see photo) who is a pedal rickshaw rider, who today took us around all the famous monuments including the Taj for just 100 rupees (1.40), john (dad) you would have been impressed with his pedal power!!! Ami had a go on one of the main roads and was tired after about 5 mins, this guy rode us round all day!
The food is varied, can be really good, can also be bland - depends where you pick, but our

Indian price, Very Good price! favorite at the moment is Thalis, which is a selection of foods in a metal tray which only costs about 40 rupees (50p).
The Taj was pretty amazing to see, very expensive to get in at 750 rupees and you wouldnt believe the town in which its set, very run down, so no idea where all the money is going.
We head to Jaipur tomorrow evening by train which takes 7 hours.
So far we are absolutely loving the traveller life and feel like we are both learning lots.
Love to you all back home x
