Pool and palms

Greetings from a sunbed by a pool at a resort at the shore at Lake Victoria! You can not swim in the lake though (you might then catch bilherzia- a small parasite Åsa knows all about since her last visit in Uganda) The resort is not far from our house and has become our oasis.

Another week has passed and we are still enjoying life here in Kampala, although we mostly have seen the inside of our house since we have been writing on our theis. Tomorrow we plan to do the first interview with a nurse at Mulago Hospital, if everything is coming as it should.
Thuesday evening we had dinner with our contact nurse Josephine and a collegue of hers from the hospital. It was great to sit under the starfilled sky and have dinner. It was interesting to hear more about the nurse profession in Uganda.

It is much good fruits here! We start every morning with a bowl with slices of pineapple, mango, passionfruits and banana together with yoghurt. It´s very easy to buy fresh fruits since there are people selling it all along the streets.

On thesday Kenge arrives and we look forward to that (one of us a little more then the other:-)

In the weekend we plan to go to Mabira Forrest, one hour away from Kampala, and take a guided walk. It will be nice to see more of the surroundings of Kampala. Hopefully we will get some beautiful pichtures from there to share with you all!

Äpplen och Päron
Hej Tjejer Kul att höra ifrån er och det låter så kul att få träffa kollegor som jobbar i andra länder. Jag föröskte lägga in ett inlägg häromdagen men lyckades dåligt och hoppas nu mitt fastnar på skärmen. Här hemma börjar ljuset sakta komma tillbaka och det är mellanvecka innan era kursare börjar T6. Mycket jobb som ska ordnas och nya lärare på ingång. Just nu håller jag på att planera för ENNE veckan i maj. Jag hoppas det kommer bli en riktigt kul vecka.
