New Year's
Pete and OrenFirst couple of days i just wandered around the city it's not very big you can walk from north to south in around half an hour.. They have their very own big wheel, docklands, chinatown and dome!! Managed to register with the job agency but then found out they had nothing for 2 weeks so it looked like i'd be walking the streets looking for a job which i didn't fancy so put off til after new years..
New Years Eve We wasn't sure what the hell we were doing or where we were going for the night?! I'd managed to pick me up a bargain outfit for $30 which is a duplicate of something i own at home ha ha.. But anyway feeling quite pleased with my days purchases i was ready for a night of way too much alcohol.. We headed out to a bar i'd found the day before which looked alright, but it was closing when we turned up ha ha, but we did manage to blag a free lift into south melbourne where our new found friends were going.. Just before midnight a few of us walked up to
New Year's
Owen, Me and MInty the casino to watch the fireworks at midnight, however i was in the bathroom and missed most of them ha ha typical bladder like a frigging pea!! When i did return though there was no singing or holding hands in knots it was exactly the same as before midnight, no bloody imagination these australians!! We then headed back to the pub where we had to sneak in the back door cos of the lock in, but all was good and i rolled in around 5ish..
The next few days went by in a blurr, and then i decided to get of my ars and look for a job.. It didn't go well there was nothing i managed to hand in my cv at a japanese clothes shop and 2 cafes, and also sign up to be one of those annoying people on the street that tries get you to give them money.. After 2 days noone called back and we had some new people in the room so they got in some goon and we got drunk!! Already half way there i got a call form one of the cafes woop woop, asking me to come in the next
New Year's
SHHHOOOTTTSSS!! day, sweet i thought but i already had a thirst on so there was no stopping me.. I awoke the next day at 9am already an hour and half late stinking of cheap wine with blood red eyes and not seeing quite so straight!! I decided it was better that i didn't go in ha ha.. The next day i went in at the time they'd said a day late but all the same i thought i had a full proof excuse, i just got the days muddled up ha ha what a spaz, course it didn't work they just looked at me like don't even bother oops!!
I've now come to the decision that Melbourne is not for me and i am flying to Sydney and heading to Bondi Beach on the 9th where i have accomodation on the beach 😊..

glad to see you had a great new year, i had a drink for you at midnight. we had the usual fight for a bed a jacqui and alan's but luckerly joe was feeling kind (or was it it sorry for me) i can't do floors anymore at my age. who's this owen fella that's calling elaine 'mum' already??????? it's great to see that your ok, love the pics. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
