HAPPY XMAS TO EVERYONE!! Hope that father xmas visited you all and you stuffed yourselves with lovely xmas food?!
Just a quick blog really to spread the xmas love... we have been enjoying Ko Pha-Ngan lots so far. Stayed on Baan Tai beach for 5 nights and went to a Half Moon party with a couple staying near us. We have hired mopeds and are exploring the island ourselves which is great to have some freedom. We went to a waterfall and explored lots of beaches.. and manouvered lots of hilly roads (don't worry Tanya's mum we are taking it very slowly - well Tanya is and Pilch has to wait!)... highlight was seeing a monitor lizard running along the road - it was huge!
We have now moved into a nice room for our xmas break (thought it was time to treat ourselves after two months of travelling the world 😊) which is on Haad Yao beach... AND we have a TV!! So we got far too drunk on xmas eve sunbathing on the beach and woke up with a hangover for xmas and it rained all day.... good excuse for a TV day and lots of xmas
movies!
There is a authentic english pub here which is amazing - it felt like going to an adventure playground with Kronenburg on tap, fish and chips on the menu and air conditioning to make it feel just like home!! We had our xmas lunch there and father xmas even turned up! 😊)
We are heading to Ko Tao on 29th for New Year and then will be heading back to Bangkok to fly to Cambodia...
Best wishes everyone... and Happy New Year if we don't make it to a computer before then!
xx
