Hello again! So It's Monday afternoon here and its a rainy dreary day....Mark had to work today, at 4 AM!!! So I've been just hanging out home alone. Thought I would write and tell you about my weekend! Well, Friday night some of Mark's friends (Paul and Greg - aka "Cheese") stopped by and we had a couple of drinks and chatted. Then Mark was working with his uncle Stuart on Saturday doing the tile around the bathtub in the bathroom upstairs. It took them nearly all day so I just did some tanning and reading and also cut the lawn and did some weeding etc. His friends started showing up for the BBQ around 6:30/7 ish. So there was Paul and Cheese, Greg and his wife Jess and her sister Jenn and then Mark and myself and our housemates had some of their friends over as well. It was a real nice night - it still gets a bit cool here though at night! I made some vegetable skewers and Mark BBQ'd some steak and sausages and his friends brought some chicken and portabella mushrooms, plus we had chips and dip etc so there was a lot of food! We

You can't see it right from our house but once you get out to the main road you can, and a beautiful view of it in Mark's parents back yard!!!!
lit a fire in the stone fire pit and just sat outside and chatted most of the night. Greg and Jess have a farm so they were the first to leave because they had to get up at 5 am to milk the cows! Yuck! haha and then at midnight or so my housemates Laurell and Belinda came home a little drunk from the pub down the street and asked if I wanted to go to town with them so I put on a dress and decided a little female bonding would be fun - plus it was just Mark and Cheese and Paul so I let the boys visit! We went to this small bar first called the Powder Room and then just down the street to 55 which was a much bigger bar with a nice little outdoor patio. We did some dancing and finally I decided to catch a cab home - I don't think I got home until 3:30 am!! But I hadn't drank too much so I was feeling ok the next day. just a little tired! On sunday we went to Mark's cousin Erikka's house for her daughter (Mia's) first birthday. I forgot my

camera so sorry no pics of the family yet! I met all his aunties though and we had some yummy birthday cake. Then we went to the motocross races to see the final 3 races of the weekend. It was pretty fun and we met up with Greg and Jess and Paul. That night we got McDonalds for dinner - my first time getting it in NZ and yes its exactly the same haha. We also walked down to the beach last night. Today I was suppose to walk to the store and start buying things to set up our veggie garden but it is too rainy and cold so I think I will wait until tomorrow if it's better or just wait til we pick up the little Honda that Mark has for me - which has a nice new cd player in it! Oh and we bought a poinsetta (spelling?) to help me feel like it is xmas time but I am thinking we will have to just get a tree and decorate cause it really doesn't feel like xmas time at all to me! I'm hoping Mark buys me a puppy for Christmas!!! 😊 haha a girl

a sign I thought was funny downtown, they don't pronounce it P-U-K-E like we would though! And then I was standing on this bench (u can't really see me, its too dark) and this lady came and pulled my dress up! lol Everyone saw my tushie!!! muahaha
can always hope anyway! So thats me! Oh and I called Nana and Papa today! Happy birthday tomorrow Papa! And from what I hear, since I made my blog public, emails aren't being sent out to those of you who signed up privately? I am trying to fix that, but next time you read this blog, if you click on Subscribe under my picture, it should sign u up publicly and then you SHOULD receive emails when I make updates? Anyway, its new to me to and hopefully will work out the kinks soon! xo enjoy the pictures and talk soon! P.s. thank you to everyone for all of your comments and messages! Keep on sending them cause for now, I don't have a job and have loads of free time on my hands! love An
