The trekking capital of the country! So - we do what everybody does around here: hike and climb and look for Condors! Dreamland for Jan Willem actually - the climbing part!
First day in the Glaciers NP we went on a hike to the Lago Torre - floating ice in the lake hint a temperature around here: icy! But the sun makes up for it. It took us around 2-3h to hike until there through really all kinds of landscapes: forest, valleys, along the river, through the bushes... really nice. On our way we did spot a Condor, though very far away... We also saw Woody the woodpecker! But he wouldn't come out of his nest. Shy little fellow.
On the second day we did couple of shorter hikes. One of which to Mirador de Condores - and indeed we did spot Condors here! They're really big, and also fly by really, really fast! From here we also got some wonderfull views of Cerro Torre (thin, spiky one) and Cerro Fitz Roy (the bigger one).
Tomorrow we go on for our last 'etappe': El Calafate & Perito Moreno glacier.

Hallo daar, Weer prachtige fotos vooral van de Condor, Tajana kan zich uitleven met fotograferen, met zoveel moois vast te leggen!Jan Willem kan z n favoriete klimpartijen uitoefenenen! Nog een paar dagen en jullie gaan alweer richting Holland! Gisteravond ben ik laat uit Antwerpen teruggekomen, papa heeft me uit Assen gehaald en waren na twaalven thuis! We hebben hetn erg leuk gehad veel gezien , toch vond ik Brugge de mooiste plaats. Zondag hebben we met een gids een rondleiding door Brugge gehad. Het was regenachtig weer, en dat was wel jammer dan toont een stad heel anders! Zo meteen gaan we weer babysitten op Lotte! Nou jongelui nog veel plezier de laatste dagen en tot mails! O ja Janny Inge en Marion zijn zaterdagavond met een legervliegtuig vanuit Phuket uit Tailand teruggekomen, het was wel spannend voor hen! Liefs pama
