We left Samui today and left the lovely luxury of the Imperial Boat House Hotel! We were up at 5am to get a boat and bus to the other side of Thailand...thanks to Pete & Gina ( a lovely english couple we met in Samui...I know you'll be reading this Gina thats why I said that !!) We were out with them in the Garland restuarant till 1am so only got 4 hours sleep! the boat was soo rocky, even though the sea wasnt too bad - must have been the captain !! it rained ALL day today - but its not raining now in Phuket thank god! the boat was grand, then we all piled onto this bus that we though was taking us to Phuket but about half an hour in ( we were both asleep ) this guy got on the bus and told the Phuket people to get off - we were asleep so we didnt know what was going on !! anyway we stayed at this shed / place to eat for about an hour waiting on our other bus - it was minging...we were so hungry that we got sambo's, but mam if you had
of seen it you would have went mad that we ate there!!! our bus came and it was actually a really nice mini bus, it took us and a few others on a 5 hour drive to Karon, Phuket. all the roads were flooded coz of the rain and the guy driving the mini bus was a mad driver and was horsing through what I can only call a "small river!" I had Bon Jovi on my ipod as my saviour of sanity for the whole trip!! The Guesthouse were in tonight is a bit dingy so we booked another place for tomorrow night that looks nice.. havent seen much of Karon yet - we'll do some sightseeing tomorrow and keep yous updated....

Hi Shell and Alen, Nana and I are reviewing your blog......waiting for some pictures,,,,,Phukett sounds a bit downmarket form Samui,,,,tough....Mags and Nana
