Xi'an and the Warriors

Arrived in Xi'an and got the hostel pick up. When I got into the hostel I managed to get on the tour to the Warriors that day with Rachael and Catherine. It was a highlight of the trip so far. Fascinating and capivating. I almost couldn't believe how little had been unearthed and reconstructed. Just amazing thinking about the effort that went into constructing the army, 720,000 people worked on it for 40 years.

My leg is worse now. I could hardly manage to walk a block to dinner. The tour guide arranged for me to see the hostel Dr the next day but I bumped into him before he went hillwalking and he says I've sprained it (he might mean strained it). So....I have accupuncture booked for tomorrow...eeeeek!
