Days 25 - 30

We arrived at the train station for our 21:30 train and were sightly dssapointed to see that the train was exactly the same as all the rest.. Just four beds in a cabin no bigger the same horrible toilets and no fresh air!!

We had another person in our cabin as well who spoke no English... She was a nice woman though and gave a chocolate ech before we went to bed (score)..

In the morning we woke early to find the woman wasn't staying the whole journey and was off te next stop so we had a bit more space woop woop.. We sat and tried to talk to her with no luck i have no idea what she was saying.. Then she handed me her phone i was slightly confused but the person on the other end explained in English-ish that he was her son and she wanted to thank us for making it a nice journey and he said some other stuff but i din't really understand?!

There was a restaurant carriage on the train and so the frst and second nights we went there a raidsd the bar.. On the 2nd night we met soe American bible bashers.. Ha ha.. At first i thought they were in the army they were dressed in suits and said they were missionairies so i just thought ooh army how wrong i was.. They then explained that they were in Siberia for 2 years teaching english and gospels.. I was a bit drunk so can't remember exactly what i was saying but they didn't stay that long..

We had a slight bizzard between 16:00 and 16:02 whilst on the train as well which was a change of scenery form the trees and the trees and the other trees..

By the 3rd day i had no money no pineapple no haribo and only 2 sweetcorn tins and 2 gherkins left and was so hungry.. I had a nap and dreamt of a Mcdonlads coke whilst trying to get over a nasty hangover..

By the 4th day i was just numb the day went quite quick and i just stared into nothing bred and i think slightly brain dead?! I hadn't slept cos i was so hungry but was looking forward to a BOrsh soup at 6 which i was gna borrow some money to buy.. However at 5 we stopped at the Russian border for 5 hours and so the restaurant cart was closed and i had to suffer, but we wasn't far now only one more night to get through.

I didn't sleep again day dreaming about a fry up and mcdonalds and tuna toasties and bacon and coke and fry ups and fry ups...

We had a few checks through the borders where they searched our cabins and then at 07:30 we finally arrived at Ulaanbaatar..

A song for your hunger
Nancy, I thought I would put a quick song together to help you with your hunger. Its to be sung to the tune of Queen we are the Champions. I have re-titled it we are the Chompions. Enjoy !. I could eat my shoes With some rosemary and thyme I've had no dinner for the fecking 100th time And ropey old steaks I’d give em a chew And I've not had my share of McD’s In my belly But I've come through And I need to go on and on and on and on We are the chompions - my friends And we'll keep on chomping ' till the end We are the chompions We are the chompions No time for Anerexia 'Cause we are the chompions of the world I've lost my car had all my dried food in we’ve now got famine and hunger And everything that goes with it I thank you all But it's been no bed of roses no pleasure cruise And I consider it a challenge before all human race That I'll never lose And I need a fry up, fry up, fry up We are the chompions - my friends And we'll keep on chomping ' till the end We are the chompions We are the chompions No time for Bulimia 'Cause we are the chompions of the world

Hi Love seems like your eating heathily, well vegatables are supposed to be good for you, never saw the attraction myself. Try a bit of forward planning and buy the beer to take on the train and save the money for food that way you can always buy more beer if you want and take your mind off the food if you run out. Your radiator for the car has just turned up so hopefully will have some news on that soon. Weather is starting to turn a little cold here so getting envious of the exotic locations yet to come. Have to go now but keeping an eye out for blogs so keep them coming. Love Dad
