Hello all.
We are alive and well and in Lincoln, Nebraska tonight; for being on the road for over 2 weeks now, we are doing great! The kids have become real road warriors and our time on the road has been profitable even if they are not in school. For example:
1. We visited the New Mexico Natural History Museum in Albuquerque for a day and the kids learned alot about dinosaurs and much of the Southwest's natural history. (they had some really great exhibits, and this was part of Sam's 6th birthday present)
2. They are learning a great deal about the different states in our huge country and all of the culture that goes with each state.
3. They learned alot about caring for horses while in Colorado.
4. We have passed many (working) oil rigs along the Interstates and we have explained the importance they are to our country.
5. Now in Nebraska, they get to see the harvest in full swing; many combines are working in the fields and we get to explain to them the importance of the corn and wheat that is currently being harvested.
6. We have had a mobile "zoo" for their enjoyment because we have seen many cows, horses, deer, antelope, sheep, llamas, goats, and probably a few others that we have forgotten about.
In many ways this is an outdoor, moving at 75mph, mobile classroom and we are very happy to oblige them.
One of the benefits of staying in rural Northern Colorado with no cell service or Internet is that we don't get to hear about all the bad news in the world! I have found that not being glued to the various media venues is quite liberating. I know that this seems to be a tough time in our economy, but we are praying daily for all of you and your needs being met and we are EXACTLY where we need to be, helping people overcome their fears and showing them that God can meet their needs no matter what goes on with the economy.
We send our love and prayers to you all.
Sincerely,
Jim, Marsha, Clara, Sam, & Hannah

Go Cornhuskers Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so thrill that you were able to travel through the great state of Nebraska no matter how boring it could have been. But I guess I am partial to it since I was born and raised there. Yes, it truly is harvest season there in Nebraska and what I miss most of all is the smell of the harvest in full swing. You can now understand why the man on the capitol is there "The sower and the seed". I love you all very much and am once again privileged to know that you enjoyed the great state of Nebraska and my birth place Kearney, Nebraska! I suppose the next time we hear from you you will be in Ohio and getting even more excited for the next 6 months ahead living, giving, and serving the greatness of God's word on the silver platter of your hearts! Love in Christ your sis! JoAnn C. Keefe
