Here is the first group of photos which includes our stop over in Bangalore, the Lotus Temple in Delhi, and the Taj Mahal. There are many more pictures of the Delhi trip yet to come.

The Lotus Temple was built in the shape of a Lotus flower as you can see. What you can't see is that it sits in the midst of some reflecting pools. I'm thinking it would be an amazing site to see from a low flying plane.

The lady wearing purple in the Bangalore pictures is Prasanna's cousin....(I am pretty sure I got that right) and she's one of my favorite new relatives. Her name is Jane-Tee (accent on the last part)....spelled phonetically for your reading ease... I have no idea how it's really spelled... (Note to my Red Hattie pals..... she could easily be one of us if she lived a bit closer.)

Okay, that's it for now....I'll get these up before something comes up to stop me. I've been trying to finish this entry for the last couple days.... and I have some great new photos of the mehndi party that we had last night. Don't know what mehndi is? well, stay tuned....

This was taken after sunset so the light isn't great, but you can see more of the detail than in the more distant photos.

This is one of two structures on opposite sides of the Taj Mahal. I'm sorry to say I can't remember what it's called or what it was used for.

Wonderful experience
So glad you are sharing this with us. Its so neat to get this and you are so far away. You will sleep for days when you get back. The shopping reminds me of Hong Kong. When is the wedding? Waiting for those pictures. Take care, Hugs, Queen Mother.
