Hello everyone,
I am back from my trip to Mui Ne Beach. It was wonderful! 😊
We got up at 5:45 am on Friday, since we had a 20 minute bus-ride to the place we were meeting the bus that would take us to Mui Ne. We organised the trip through Sinh Cafe, which is apparently the best address for all kinds of trips in Vietnam. We decided to take the so called "Open Bus", which is a really neat thing, since you can get on and off where ever you like it. Thatswhy I thought the bus wouldn't be very comfortable, but it turned out that I was wrong. It was airconditioned and quite comfy. The ride took about 5 hours and it was fun to see more of the country.
After about 4 1/2 hours we finally got to see the ocean! All of the hotels looked very nice and were build almost next to the ocean. Our hotel was called "Mui Ne Resort" and very nice. I would describe it as very green, since there were plants and flowers everywhere. The room us three shared was quite small, but clean and had a beautiful view on the beach
and the ocean.
We basically just hung out at the pool and the ocean and ate a lot of very goood vietnamese food. 😊 On Saturday we took a 3 hour tour to the following places: The first stop was at a Fishing-Village, which actually turned out to be Fishingboats on the water. They were painted colorful and looked really nice. The next place we went to was to see the "Big Canyon", but due to the raining season we could only see the "Small Canyon".
Our last stop was at the "White Sanddunes". It was awesome!! 😊 You seriously had the feeling you were somewhere in Africa, since the dunes were quite big. We walked up to the top of one of the dunes and had a wonderful view over the area. When we got back we jumped into the pool, because we were full of sand 😊
On Sunday before we got on the bus (which was at 1 pm), we had a great breakfast and took one last swim in the ocean.
This trip was wonderful, since I was amazed how different Mui Ne seemed to the area around Ho Chi Minh City and I was glad
that I found people to travel with (after being in Vietnam for only two weeks!).
