Guanajuato!Guanajuato!
Guanajuato!

Such a beautiful city...the big white building in the center is part of the University of Guanajuato - but I don't have classes there.

This is what I see everyday when I'm at school. Amazing.
My streetMy street
My street

This is the street that I walk up to get to my house. Further up it gets steeper. This morning when it was pouring rain, it was like a river going down the street. Definitely not fun to walk down.

A little easier to tell that it's steep

Cute and yellow. Although with the gate you can't see it well. Will take pictures of the inside sometime soon.

The view when I go to school for my class with Mexican students. I absolutely love the mountains here.

Pretty much the coolest soccer field I've ever seen because of the mountains. - Belongs to the university

With the summer students that were in my house - Steve and Micah. The statue is 20 meters tall, made out of bronze, and is said to be located at the geographical center of Mexico. So there is special meaning in having Jesus at the heart of the country.

¡Oh, cómo es hermoso!
Oh Sara, what a gorgeous place! I don't know how you find the time to study or even pay attention in class...I would think the distraction of the scenery would contribute significantly to the impairment of your scholastic endeavors! When we see you next, I don't know that anyone will recognize you. With all the steep hills you climb daily, you'll be quite the buff young woman when you return. :-) How are your studies coming along? Is it becoming easier, now that you've had a little time to adjust? My classes begin this coming Monday, but I don't have the excitement of studying abroad to cause me any eager anticipation of their starting! Have a great week; I can't wait to read (or view) your next blog entry! Adios, Cindy P.S. By the way, your horse looks like a sweetheart!

wow!
I love how colorful all of the buildings are! Some of those scenes are so picturesque - you should create calendars when you get back and sell them for Christmas gifts or something....sooo amazing.

Hi Sara, I'm by Grams and she's showing me your blog. Great job on the photos! I don't think I'll show the kids the mummies, though. ;) I hope you stay strong, learn a lot and have fun. Love, Uncle Kev
