Harrods
On the way to ice skating and Harrods all lite up Well it has always been a boyhood bream of James' to see his beloved Liverpool play at Anfield and this weekend he finally got his dream. But before we headed up on Saturday morning we decided to enjoy the festive atmosphere in London and headed out to enjoy a touch of ice skating. London is great leading up to Christmas with lights and decorations everywhere and being cold it feels like Christmas is actually in the right season. Don't worry, we only tell ourselves that because we are jealous and missing the sun.
Anyway it was off to beautiful Sth Kensington where they have set-up an ice rink outside the Natural History Museum and surrounded by Christmas markets. We had a great time pretending to be Torvill and Dean but the form was not great. Still we managed to bump into Elle MacPherson so that was a bit of a bonus.
Saturday saw us catch the train up to Liverpool. On arrival we dropped our bags at the B & B and headed to the game. It was great to be at Anfield, so much history and atmosphere and of course some quality football from a team playing so
Christmas Markets
Outside the Natural History Museum and the markets with lots of cool stuff. well at the moment. The Reds won 2-0 and even Anna was heard singing and cheering which has further added fuel to the rumour that she is starting to enjoy watching sports. A great experience and hopefully one I may do again.
We spent the evening in the town which was buzzing being game day and of course the christmas shoppers. Liverpool is a lovely town and we spent a few hours wondering around before finding a great little place for dinner. Sunday was another stunning day so headed back into town to explore and did some final christmas shopping. The train journey home took all of 5 hours for varous reasons, I mean we could have flown to anywhere in Europe in that time but all in all it was another great weekend and another experience to add to the fast growing list.
And Christmas in two weeks, hope you all have great ones and you enjoy the sun and beach. We have booked to go to Egypt in Feb so thankfully we will have some sun then.

Neat
Time to give up on that Chelsea crap and go full on for Liverpool ... Also, another reason I hate Liverpool is that Newcastle came second to them for the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2008. Newcastle's way better! Nice Photos. You guys are livin' it up aye? Great to see. Love you's both. Be encouraged, Nathan
