Gregynog is an old house bequeathed to the University of Wales. The grounds are lovely, lots of specimen trees, and as its nearby, a good place for a walk. I met an ex colleague there today, for a picnic and a walk. Lovely.

on the lawn. The house is kept open, and you can go in and sit in the library or play the piano in the sitting room. There are some Victorian toilets in there too.

Are you allowed to take dogs?
to these places - very lucky - in NZ you can't take dogs anywhere much now. Hope you had a nice day..... Robyn

dogs
are allowed in lots of places here, and we met several being walked that day. I noticed that they aren't welcome many places in NZ, not much point having one if you can't go for a nice walk.

It's been a while since I looked at your blog. Lots of catching up to do as you have been busy. Happy belated birthday Alex. I like your cardigan Carrie - reminds me of Josephs Coat of Many Colours. Did going for a swim remind you of our visit to Blackhead on your lightning trip of the mid=north coast of NSW? Looks like you had a good day. Love to all - Rosemary
