1. Pain du Chocolat - seriously, any country that offers me chocolate as a breakfast food is worthy of some props.
2. Club Baguette - bread seems to be the national food, and when you take a baguette and stuff it with meat, cheese, and veggies it begins to remarkably resemble a Subway creation. Being that these are sold on every street corner for only a few Euros, you can understand why Tim was never hungry.
3. Mediterranean Waters - turquoise, calm, and with apparently unlimited visibility …
4. The Metro system in Paris - so easy to use, so convenient
5. 1664 Beer - not only is it cheaper than water (in most cases) but it gives you a buzz quickly with his high alcohol content.
6. Fashion - they don’t call it the fashion capital of the world for nothing; there wasn’t an ensemble I saw that I didn’t want (but no, I did not buy any clothes - impressive, yes?)
7. Museums - with more museums than days of the year, we were constantly enthralled by the beautiful pieces of history
8. Dining al fresco - there is something about sitting outside to eat on a beautiful evening
9. Napoleon’s tomb - although it took us a long time to find, it was impressive seeing a tomb so huge for someone so small.
10. Beach Boobs - gotta love beaches where it is not only acceptable, but also expected to bare your breasts. Despite dirty glances from locals, Terri did not remove her bikini top (sorry).
That said, we are off to Cairo tomorrow for our trip to Egypt. Here's hoping that it'll be as awesome as this leg of the journey was!
