Went to an Elephant conservation centre today went and watched them having there morning bath and then straight to watch them in a show where they showed us how clever elephants are with paintings and how they are used in the jungle for logging. We learnt how they re-cycle the elephant dung into paper and had an elephant ride but our elephant was not a happy bunny half way round he ripped down a tree was a close call hanging on our Mahout (the
guy who steers it) was very nervous too. (Nibby- the fact that he kept hitting the elephant and turning round giggling nervously really did nothing for my nerves!!! Nearly crapped myself if I'm totally honest) Fed some baby elephants and had a look at the Elephant hospital.
2nd July
went Wat hoping today to a teak temple, and then a really really old one that was pretty cool, then over to see a lion Buddha (bit disappionted just a Buddha with a main behind him) then we went to see a marble and crystal buddha but these were tiny and you could not get very close. Came home tried the new laptop to find the networks cards where all not working had to re-install windows vista what a bummer took the whole evening.

This is when to tour took a turn for the worst, also in the group where 2 what we suspect to be alcohics and they where knocking back local rice whiskey very quickly one soon became loud an annoying, in the night when we where asleep (all the group in the same room on mattresses on the floor) this pissed Swiss man pissed himself right next to our bed it was not funny at all!!!
