Our Travel Itinery for Europe

Daniel's brother, Ed, suggested we put our itinery up on our blog so you can all see where we're planning on going on our journey - we thought that would be a great idea - so here's our plans so far:

Wed 30 - Thurs 31st July - UK/London, adjusting to the time difference!

Fri 1 Aug - We are taking the train and boat to Holland - leaving London at 6am and arriving in the Hook of Holland at 4.15pm.

Fri 1st Aug-Sat 2nd Aug - at Daniel's Aunty and Uncles house (Oom Johan & Tante Nancy)

Sun 3rd Aug - Mon 4th Aug - with Beppe in Friesland

Tues 5th Aug - Aunty Margerth & Uncle Albert in the Netherlands

Wed 6th Aug - we pick up our rental car in Duisburg, Germany and head to Koln (Cologne).

Thurs 7th Aug - Heidelberg, Germany

Fri 8th Aug - We will travel down the 'Romatic Road' to Munich, no idea where we'll stay, we'll just see how far we get.

Sat 9th Aug - Carry on down the Romantic Road to Munich, Germany

Sun 10th Aug - Munich, Germany

Mon 11th Aug - Fusen, Germany - to see the 'Cinderella castle'!

Tues 12th Aug - Salzberg, Austria

Wed 13th Aug - Venice, Italy

Thurs 14th Aug - Venice, Italy

Fri 15th Aug - Rome, Italy (a long driving day)

Sat 16th Aug - Rome, Italy

Sun 17th Aug - Rome, Italy

Mon 18th Aug - Pisa/Tuscany, Italy (where I'm determined to eat a Pizza at Pisa!)

Tues 19th Aug - Pisa/Tuscany, Italy

Wed 20th Aug - Lugano, Switzerland

Thurs 21st Aug - Lugano, Switzerland

Fri 22nd Aug - Zurich, Switzerland

Sat 23rd Aug - Zurich, Switzerland

Sun 24th Aug - Freisbury (the Black Forest), Germany

Mon 25th Aug - Strastbourg, Germany

Tues 26th Aug - Luxemburg, Germany

Wed 27th Aug - Belgium

Thurs 28th - the Netherlands, staying at Daniel's relatives (Oom Teus & Tante Joke)

Fri 29th - we leave the Netherlands at night on the 10pm ferry and arrive in England in the morning.

Sat 30th - today we will travel down to our new home in Guildford where we will be working for the next 3 months.


So, that's the plan for now. Of course, when we get there everything will probably change but hey, at least we have a rough idea of what we want to see and do.

If you're doing Pizza at Pisa you'd better eat some cake black forest cake too.

Yummmmmmmm....sounds good to me....I will never complain about eating yummy food like that. And since I can't bring one home for you it's only fair that I eat your share also!
