ARGH! OMG I AM SITTING HERE SHAKING WITH ANGER AND INDIGNATION!

last night there was some jerk guy here. sounded american. middle aged, sounds like from jersey, treating his "friend" that was chinese and is obvi travelling with him like hired help. just generally ordering him around.

this morning i'm sitting here checking my email and this asshole american comes down and starts demanding a refund. he's not happy with the service. his chinese friend is like standing behind him looking soooo embarrassed. the guy is saying how he's not happy, he wants a full refund. but of course the receptionist doesn't have the authority to refund his money. the asshole says that last night the manager said he could have a refund, he's not happy, blah blah blah.

at that point his totally embarrassed chinese counterpart tells him that no, it wasn't the manager who said that last night, it was THE CLEANING LADY.

jerkface keeps saying "i'm leaving in 5 minutes. i want a refund." but he was here for half an hour, saying the same things! and never giving a reason! fucker! he finally tells his young chinese counterpart, "you're useless here, why don't you just go wait outside." americanjerk was like, "can't you see these receipts? i want a refund! you all run this place like you run china, i want a refund."

OKAY FIRST OF ALL, FUCKER - YOU ARE IN CHINA! AT A YOUTH HOSTEL! WHERE YOU'RE PAYING LESS THAN 10 DOLLARS A NIGHT FOR YOUR BED!

SECOND OF ALL, WHO RAISED YOU?!I WANT TO GO HOME AND SLAP YOUR MOTHER! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? NO WONDER YOU HATE CHINA!

also, what the fuck? YOU ARE EMBARRASSING ME, YOU AMERICAN ASS. in the past month, i have been downstairs when two seperate american jerks have loudly complained about this place, saying the rooms and people are shit, and being total and complete dicks about it.

THESE AMBASSADORS OF MY COUNTRY ARE JUST ONE REASON WHY THE WORLD HATES AMERICA!

what the hell?! ARGH!

so, i innocently ask him, "where are you from?" he steps toward me, puts his hand up, and says, "don't get involved, don't EVEN get involved," and i'm like, "just wondering where you're from?" and he once again repeats his mantra.

i wanted to get up and slap him. but i just shook my head and went back to writing this rant.
