Hey everyone,
I just wanted to share a brief blog about Krakow. We arrived here last night after a very emotional trip to Auschwitz. This morning however, my friends and I went on a tour about communism in Krakow. We rode about town in a russian Trabant and visited the amazingly interesting Nowa Huta community that was created during communism near the steel plant. We had a great tour guide as we toured about. It was definitely a cool experience--the stories are best told in person so I will leave it at that.

I visited the Jewish quarter called Kazimierz this afternoon and had lunch at a Bar Mclezny that was formerly a government subsidized restaurant for workers during communist times. Great pierogis.

Tomorrow to Slovakia.

Hugs and love to all of you.

my mentor
First, I am very fortunate to be able to share your experiences in the world, so I thank you for that. Second, did you ever notice that if you misspell the word "mentor" it ends up looking liking "menotaur", and there are some parallels. But only if you look for them. Third, I love ya kiddo and hope you are having a great journey. Miss ya! Paul
