Me, leaving for Jeju island at the domestic flights airport Kimpo
So finally, 2.5 weeks after having left Germany on May 14th I am writing my first blog entry. First stop after taking off in Frankfurt was Seoul. I spend a week staying at my "older brother" Seung-Hun's house (he's not a real brother but we are pretty close, as he has known me since I was little and we actually shared an apartment for a while in Hamburg, Germany) in Ichon. Nothing exciting really happened except that I stocked up on hiking and camping equipment, bought a digital camera and got screwed while haggling for a cheaper price on a MP3 player (damn electronics dealers at Yongsan electronic market - never trust them;-)).

I was eager to leave Seoul as quickly as possible as I wanted to plunge into a quiet farm life. My plan was to spend 4 weeks in Korea travelling around the country and after having visited the local WWOOF office and picking up the farm directory I called up a tangerine and pig farmer who lived on the southern island of Jeju. Things went well and Wednesday I headed out to the airport.

Ahh-Haaaaaa!!
So THAT'S where you hide fgs! Is it all because you still owe me my birthday present for like 7 years now? I hope not mien Jong. Some evening I walked into your little sis and passed the best greetings and then - I just remember as I write this - I met you in the Kaifu dressing room?! World's a village my friend! ^_^ Great to hear you finally used your brain for what it's been given to you (thinking) and that you are going to marvel at the wonders this world holds in place. One of my best friends decided to do so some years ago and ended up staying in Autralia for good. First kid to arrive soonish, cute dutch gf included. So - all the best and keep in touch. Changing the point of view in this physical world often makes it easy to rethink old internal perspectives as well. Peace -Marc
