Beach
Shot out towards the South China Sea from An Bang beach (with strange rock formation in the bottom right hand side of the image) We managed to wangle quite a plush hotel in Hoi An- swimming pool, big airy rooms with mozzy net and balcony, free bicycles and breakfast included (all for only $15 a night).
It was a 5 minute cycle out of the main town but that's where the bikes came in- it was quite a pleasant cycle anyway- plus we discovered a cool little secluded beach a couple of kms away so they definitely came in handy (although to look at the state of them they were probably around during the American war).
Hoi An is by far our favourite place in Vietnam so far. The streets are really quaint and and it has a little river that"s lined with lanterns when it gets dark. Plus as a bit of a bonus there are about a million tailors so kelly used this as an excuse for getting a whole new wardrobe made for an absolute pittance! It"s so laid back and chilled that they play classical music from from some of the shops in the afternoons. And on the second day< who should show up on the bus than Ellie Alan and Kate~ the old gang together again. And we
Riding Miss Daisy
'Check out my sweet ride!' milked it by visiting as many "fresh" beer outlets as possible!
All in all we had a blast in hoi an it was really relaxing and great to see the gang again. Very sad to say goodbye but the way things are going i am sure we will see each other in the not too distant future...
