Birthday In Palolem!

Yesterday I spent my birthday in Palolem! What a birthday! I spent most of the day lounging in the sun, reading my book, swimming, and just enjoying life! I went out to lunch at a beach side restaurant and had some amazing Indian Cuisine. My new found Palolem friends were really great, and really gave me a wonderful party - in Cafe del Mar lot's of people knew it was my birthday, so I got some free drinks and lot's of birthday wishes! At around midnight - George and Siri surprised me with a Birthday Cake which they had had specifically made for me in the neighboring town with a big 'Happy Birthday Mona' on it! Before entering the pub, Siri had also gone around to all the tables and told everyone that it was my birthday and that they should be ready to sing when the music was turned off! What fantastic gals! The rest of the night was great, with good friends and lots of laughs!
Tomorrow I'm finally off to Kerala (I realise this is the second attempt of jumping onto a train down south - but this time I'll make it!). My first stop is a place called Trissur - I will write more from there! Can't wait!

palolem beach huts
hi, just came across your entry on the internet and trying to book a beach hut for christmas on palolem beach wondered if you had any phone numbers of a good place to stay? i know this is a bit random but i'm finding it pretty hard to sort out so any help would be brilliant! many thank sophie [e-mail]

D'costas is great
hey there...d'costas is nice...its to the left as you get to teh beach...its about in the middle in terms of price but definetly superior in terms of all else...don't know if it will have a sign this year or not...
