They might look cute and innocent . . .They might look cute and innocent . . .They might look cute and innocent . . .

But they'll cover you with red paint before you know what hit you!
Here are some pictures from the first part of the trek. If the quality isn't great it's because i stole them off a website. Yes, they are pictures from my trip but they are all ones that other people took because my camera had died and of course it decided to die the first day of the trek so i had to carry the stinking thing the whole time! All of that extra weight and the stupid thing didn't even work!

The connection here is super slow so please excuse the super lame titles of most pictures and lack of text, just appreciate the pretty snow covered mountains instead. Ok, it's lunch time. More stories from Nepal later. Don't worry about me though. I don't know what's getting out on the news about the elections in Nepal but I'm in Pohkara, not kathmandu, at the moment and it is very safe here. My biggest fear is stepping in water buffalo poo. You couldn't even tell that political troubles are happening. Kisses and hugs from Nepal!

It was worth getting up a 6am everyday to watch the sunrise!

From left to right, Rich (met him in Thailand rock climbing), Blair (crazy Canadian we met on the bus) and Tom (strange and unprepared English guy who bought that amazing hat for less than 3 bucks)!

You see porters carrying just about anything up the mountain. Solar hot water heaters, pipes weighing 65kg, tractor tires. You name it, I probably saw it going up the mountain on someones back. These guys are amazing!

Brad, getting bucked off a burro. I gotta give him credit, he actually sat on the burro for about 3 seconds before it bucked him off and almost launched him into a rock!
