Hello

Well we left Melbourne after a sad goodbye to Ashley, and got ready to take the overnight bus to Sydney. After countless luxury buses in South America we were disapointed and did not get much sleep and it cost about double the price!! Anyway we checked into Wake Up hostel which is right next to the bus station, we had showers and straight away walked up to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, then you feel like you are actually in Sydney! It was a gorgeous day which was nice after the tempermental weather of Melbourne! We walked right round to Mrs McQuarries Chair and got great views over and we also hundreds of flying foxes(bats) in the trees it was very creepy oh and also an unnervingly large spider, dont worry Martyn got pictures of both! Oh and I must mention that I showed Martyn our old apartment on Kent St and showed him Baia where we worked while we lived here, he was just delighted!! That night we decided to go out and I showed Martyn the dive places we used to go like Scruffy Murphys and 3 Wise Monkeys, it was SO expensive we were just not ready for it and prob moaned all night!! Had a great night and managed to get a yummy kebab on the way home, just like they used to taste!!

The next day we got up bright and early and headed to Bondi, it was a gorgeous day and we walked the Eastern Beaches Costal Walk from Bondi to Coogee. It was a lovely walk and then we fell asleep on Coogee for a while before the walk back, it was lovely to be in the sun again!! We went to the cinema at night, to see Semi Pro was very funny and lovely to be back at the cinema with popcorn!!

On sunday we were off to stay with Alicia in Collaroy for a few nights which is along from Manly. We got the ferry over but the weather wasnt great so we didnt get any great pics of the Opera House and Bridge from here. Alicia and Glens apartment is lovely and literally accross from the beach, shame the sun was'nt out!! We had a lovely few days relaxing, catching up and drinking far too much wine!
On Monday night we went out for a lovely dinner and then bought wine to have back at the house but then of course the Wii came out - we just cant get enough of it, although my right arm is very sore after all the energetic bowling we have done!! So much fun!! Its been so good chilling out here and Glen has cooked us yummy food, we have been very spoiled but alas the time has come to move on up the coast. We are on a schedule now as Martyn needs to be in accessible places for the next 2 old firms coming, ahh priorities!! So we leave for Byron Bay on the overnight bus tonight, just cant wait! Hopefully the sun is out further up the coast my tan defo needs topping up!

Anyway hope everyone is good and Happy Birthday for Cheryl today and Gladys on the 12th.
Lots of Love xxxxx
