Well day number 2 and no laundry done!! Had a bit of a lie in this mornin and then got up and had a walk 2 Fells Point, lots of bars and resteraunts. We then thought we would go watch a film. There wasn't much on offer, so we watched 10,000 BC... and it wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be. Ok it wasn't wonderful, but it killed sometime in Baltimore. Gonna head back 2 Fells Point 2night with an english guy we met last night whilst watchin some dvd of archive footage of William Burroughs!! So a few beers 2night and then 2morrow...
Mr Metcalfe goes 2 Washington!! And i have a few things 2 bring 2 congress that needs 2 be changed. Number 1 is change, as in loose change... seriously the biggest coin they have in this country is a quarter, 25 cent... about 12 pence!! And thats the only 1 thats useful!! In the uk, u tend 2 end up with a pocket ful of change, but it soon goes down as most coins r relatively big and useful. Here u just keep on accumulating spare change... Seriously if u filled a jar with this stuff it would probs come 2 a fiver... pointless!!!
Number 2 is Adverts waaaaaaaaay 2 many adverts on american tv, half an hour program has 4 sets off adverts!!
Number 3 is the news in this country its so biased, now i know that news in English tv has its bias, but the news in this country is about as subtle as a sledgehammer!! U can clearly see which channel wants whom 2 win the primaries it sucks!!
