Maine to California

Wow,
I wanted a travelblog for my upcoming summer adventure, but I am not doing anything half as exciting as the folks on this place are doing. But, since this isn't high school, I'm sure nobody will mind and it's only for the family and friends anyway.

The Amtrak tickets have arrived -- BOS to SAC (Boston, MA to Sacramento, CA). The luggage is here and I bought a new camera to document the trip. Post is a fabulous picture of mud season in Maine.

I still need to reserve a rental car and try to do a calendar. I hope to post some pre-trip updates so I can get used to this site and be ready to use it on the road

Maine Mud
Mud season in Maine. One of the four seasons we have in Maine, joining Winter, Fall and Summer. My dad always says "Summer in Maine is July and an odd day in August." Last Friday, the temp when above 40 and people broke out the shorts and t-shirts. I shit you not. It's been a long winter

Just wanted to let you both know Keith has arrived at 1 today in Alanta, Ga..on route to Savannaha..where his wife and son will there to greet him..finally he has arrived..as he started on 12 on Friday long way home right. Maine is the place to be
Sylvia, we had a great time, but Maine is the prettiest place we saw this place, now if they could only more Crater Lake here.
