EARTHQUAKE THAT HIT 5.2 ON RICHTER SCALE!!!

Thats right, i woke up on the couch this morning about 1am, forgot to go to bed silly ben, 😊 and i woke up to the whole house shaking and rattling and doing all sorts of weird things and my first thought was, yay earthquake, then i though, dont be silly england doesnt have earthquakes, then to find out this morning that they do! and apparently the stongest in 25 years, how strange, so that was my first ever earthquake! hooray!
And now i need to update whats been happening the last couple of days.
Monday was a pretty quiet day, i got up, and was asked to make everyone a cup of tea, so i did, and just as i was about to pass them round jordie said, you didnt pour that in did you, pointing to the bottle next to me and i said yes, thats the milk, he proceeded to turn the bottle around and showed me it was infact fabric conditioner, so he foiled my plans of accidently poisoning everyone,
cant remember what we did the rest of that day, i think mainly watched tv and relaxed, and had a lovely dinner,
Yesterday was a little more busy, waking up and rewriting a resume and printing them off to run into Hull to look for work. I registered myself at a couple of places that i think deal mostly in factory work and general labour, which is good money i'm told, just hard work, which is fine, and then when jordie met me in town we dropped off our cv's in a few pubs, and i swear the pubs hide. We started off at a favourite of ours called ye olde white hart that i spoke about the other day, and then walked out, and with 6 resume's each left by then, i though we'd have a nice walk around trying to find the pubs, little did i know that within 50 steps we'd been to 6 pubs, they're absolutley everywhere! and they seem sort of hidden behind big oak doors and stone walls, they just dont stand out like pubs do back home.
So when we ran out of cv's to hand out, we had to sample some ale after our hard labour, and the afternoon is a blur from there, we came back home eventually, only to go back into hessle as we ran out of beer and paper, and stopped in at another pub or 2 can;t quite remember, and then came back for dinner, after dinner we did the washing up mum, and then sat down to watch the tv, where i proceeded to fall instantly asleep, i walked alot that day, and the only thing that woke me up all night was the bloody earthquake! how random, if it wasnt for that i think i would of slept all night in that chair! 😊
So today we're back off into town to scour more pubs and hopefully score a job in one of them! then not sure what this afternoon,
so best wishes to you all! and i'll speak to you soon!
love ya

Proactive
Good to hear that you're 'shakin things up' a little over there....... Ok that was lame. I can't remember if Leffe is the street name for crack cocain or a brand of beer. I always seem to get those 2 confused! ;p
