Well this will just be a quick post to let you all know that we have arrived safe and sound in Quito (hopefully we will be able to drive this computer and website).

A formality: we have added you to our subscribers list because we have guessed that you will be interested in our trip. if you don{t want to recieve these udates please let us know.

Well it was a long but uneventful trip from Bris to LA and after a quick nap we spent the afternoon hanging out with Tiares friend India in Santa Monica. Then it was an early night and an early morning flight to Miami and then to Quito.

struggling with the time differences don t know whether it is day or night. It was great that Tiare arrange the transfer from the airport as it was raining and we are feeling a little bit daunted by the language barrier. Tiare is, Nick is doing great. At least attempting more than me. Nick thinks he is not doing so great and is feeling duanted too.

We have just being trying to arrange a tour of the jungle and Banos for when we get back from the Galapagos. Fortuneately most of the travel agents speak english!!!

Well, off to the Galapagos early tomorrow, hope the weather is better than Quito (cold and rainy) and hopefully we shall have some great photos for our next post.

Till then. Adios

It begins!
Great to hear that you've made it safely! Don't worry about the language barrier. If you have a beer or two it gets much easier. Especially if they are having some too...

Thanks for the offer
Hey Solua Thanks for the offer of lending us your friend - but we think we´re going to be alright. We´re on a tour at the moment - off to the Amazon tomorrow and only in Ecuador for 2 more days after that finishes - then off to Peru. Lots of love Tiare & Nick
