The birthday girl with her birthday bouquet of balloons!
Another fairly laid back day. Ran some errands, made some meals. Nothing super exciting. Beth, Kyle and I helped Bev grocery shop, which is always an adventure. I want her to, next time, make us each a few lists so we can scramble and do a scavenger hunt.

A new bus came in today, with three men on it. (Our bus is in bad need of a junk yard, so one of the other drivers from BC drove it in and brought his dad and brother with him.) This has upped our women/men ratio quite a bit, and made Kyle very happy.

Tonight, we had a birthday party for 12 of children (birthdays since August). It was quite fun. The kids have a fun birthday song they sing which they all get to drum to. We had cake and ice cream, the whole nine yards. For those of you who don’t know, I have long enjoyed a trick with crepe paper streamers. Being as it’s the most disgusting tasting thing ever made, I love to trick people into sticking it on their tongue. I got Sharye, our tour leader, with it, and she thought it would be fun to

Wishing happy birthday to the birthday children.
give to all the kids. It was pretty hilarious. (See photos)

After that, we put the kids to bed and all the Aunties and Uncles went down to roller skate. Wow. That may have been more fun to watch than last night. Uncle Robert spent quite a lot of time on the floor. We sure did have a blast, though, even did the limbo! But our evening came to an abrupt end when Auntie Bev fell and hurt her hand pretty good. We’re thinking it could be broken, but they’ve been at the hospital for many hours with now and still haven’t seen a doctor. THIS JUST IN… Bev has to go into Memphis tonight to have surgery on her hand. It is in fact broken. Oh my. Please be praying.

Tomorrow we are doing a few songs at church, then a longer evening show.

What a mean Auntie you are. Remind me NOT to invite you to my next party. Love seeing your smiling face in the photos, though you could use a little more tan. Miss ya, Dave

You are in your element!
Jamie - What a joy to see the pictures of all the kids. You have got to be so blessed, being able to be with the children, and having the time of your life! Hope you are getting some sleep though! God Bless you and keep you all safe. Cathy
