Hi all

Well last time I updated here I had just got Jodhpur a few days and well Jodhpur has a big fort and that is about it. Other highlights of Jodhpur include getting scammed on the way down from the fort from this friendly old guy who invited us into his house and got his wife to give Kerry and Laura Heena tattoos and charging a lot for them and telling me and Charlie he collects coins and didnt have any pounds or euros. In the end it only cost us about 10 pounds which wasn't too bad as scams go. Parnela also had fun down in the market having pictures taken of her by locals as she has such fair skin.

At this point most of us has colds and coughs and a few have been slightly more ill but we do seem to have a fairly determined group who is not going to let a few illnesses get in our way.

We got the local bus to Udaipur which was an experience. The bus seemed to have the most annoying horn known to man and had absolutly no suspension. Though on the plus side we did see a fat kid which was the first fat person we have seen since we got here, and got all of us peering out the window.

Udaipur is such a lovely place. There is a lot less traffic here then anywhere else and fewer cows. The palace was good but most of our time here has been taken up with other activities. On the first full day we were here me Charley and Kerry went to get a massage, whilst mine was slightly painful but made me feel better afterwards Charley and Kerry had much more exciting experiences. Charleys was that rough he has actually got friction burn on his back and Kerrys massaged started with her getting her breasts massaged.

In the afternoon I did a bit of sunbathing on the roof (very nice to actually stop for a while) and went round the shops. When you go round the shops here the shopkeepers normally start by asking you where your from will then talk to you about that country and then try to get you buy something. One way I have discovered to get around this is by saying that I am from Libya, as soon as I say this you can see they know nothing about Libya and therefore can't take the conversation further.

Afterwards we went for a boat ride on the lake and round the Lake Palace where they filmed Octopussy and then onto a cultural dance show which culminated in a lady dancing on glass which 9 large potts balancing on her head. Then it was onto our meal for the night where the retired americans carried on the tradation of drinking more then anyone else.

This morning started with a 7.30am yoga class on the roof which was so funny and me and Andreas discovered many posistions we don't bend into.

At 11am it was time for our cooking class and I now have a recipie for Biryiani and Kofta and made some an awesome Kashmiri Saffron tea.

Last thing for this entry is that I seem to have developed an uncanny nack of saying something then being proven wrong within minutes. This has included "there aren't many cows here" followed by walking past a couple and "this palace isn't very wheelchair accesible" the next exhibit had a wheelchair in it.
