Our first trip was a huge success. We spent the week before Christmas in Phuket, Thailand...yes, home of the tsunami.

This is a "floating" village - actually built over the water on stilts. We stopped here on the boat to have lunch.

The kids enjoyed riding an elephant after breakfast every morning...a good way to start the day!

Serge and Anika enjoyed a day out snorkling in the islands, while Westen and I hung at the hotel since Westen was sick. They had a great day on the water!

We went on a (very commercial) elephant trek through the jungle. The views from the high trail were amazing.
