a few missed weekends

Its been awhile and i have been up to alot... not that you care about what I am doing, the pictures are why you are reading this. This past saturday a few of us and the environmental club at galen went to mountain pine ridge forest reserve for an over night stay. we got there around 12, and dropped our stuff off at a house that is owned by belizes forestry dept., one of the girls in the clubs father works for. other than us, there was only army guards and one other family. we walked up to the tower where you can see the mountains and pines go on for ever. then we went to this amazing cave, rio frio. words or pictures cant capture the sheer beauty of being in that cave. the stars were bright that night, and we hung out drinking panty rippers and lighthouse while playing pictionary. this morning we went to the rio on pools. it was very refreshing and got to sit under this magnificent waterfall, almost taken away by the current.

Hey Bitsy, My mom sent me the link to your blog after i asked her about your trip. It looks like it is so amazing and I am completely jealous. Pittsburgh is freezing and it's been snowing here everyday and there you are swimming and hiking and being on a beach. Sounds like youre doing really well :) -Hallie
