Yesterday we went to DuPlooys, which is a botanical garden and resort. We got a tour of the grounds and learned plenty about plants. I spent much time just relaxing in a hammock looking over the river. Today most of us started classes. I only had my Garifuna Culture class, and the teacher seems great. The class is probably evenly split between belizeans and international students. I having a busy schedule tomorrow, but am going to switch my schedule so that I take indigenous perspectives on monday and wednesday-- giving me a longer break on tuesday thusday, and still no class on friday. skype is blocked in belize so it rarely works...if i get a chance to call, i will! lots of love and kisses
