Things are going pretty well here except for the crime. We have been told that this city is the ¨training center¨of all pick-pockets in the world. Every moment we have to be aware of our surroundings. It usually isn´t too bad, except when you get on the bus, it is already 200% full!!! Also, even though you may have your bag locked, the thieves use razor blades to cut them open. Funny thing though, they taught us that if we get robbed, we should asked for taxi money home from the robber. There have been many occureneces of this and the robbers felt bad so they gave them some money back. Also, several people have had there bag staken with their passports in them - when they yelled after the thief to leave the passports, he stopped and threw out the passports. These are professionals...

You know how the sun deflects off the atmosphere due to the angle of approach (among many other things)? Well, not here. My bald head is as red has my chapped ass from pooping so much. We had a lecture from the medical professor at school today and he said that pooping more often was common in higher altitudes. I call it '´augmented pooping´´. (or pooping for pros)

My name here has become Ho. Jonah became Honah, which when I mentioned that some people call me Jo..... Ho.

The bus system here is very simple, only 3 lines, but nasty. I think I told you about the driver peeing on his bus at a stop yesterday. Also, they don´t like to stop for Gringos (whities). They think it is funny to keep moving, and I don´t mean creeping along, I mean still moving fast. My bus to school is very nice. It lasts about 20 minutes and it runs through the mountains - great way to start the day!

Loved the post! Viva Hooonah!
You know, they do make creams and other products for chapped, ummm, body parts. Place looks amazing, and the whole peeing on the bus thing, come on, you can't tell me you've been in Madison this long and not seen an undergrad pee on something! Anyway, hope you are well and loved the post. Jeff
