All Packed!All Packed!All Packed!

That's all our worldy possessions in that one little storage unit!
So here it is then folks, the last blog entry from the UK before we jet off to start our new life in New Zealand. Obviously we'll be back to visit at some point in the future but for the time being, this really is it! Crikey!!

It's been a busy few days as you can imagine with lots of last minute packing and organising to do but hopefully we've covered all the important stuff. Today, we took the last few boxes down to our storage unit ready for shipping as soon as we get settled over in New Zealand.

Then one of my best friends, Linda, arrived this afternoon to stay the night. She's offered to drive us to the airport tomorrow instead of us having to go by coach, which is so much more fun! To top that, my friends Liam and Danny just dropped by on their way back to Swindon from Liverpool, so it's turning out to be quite a big goodbye - certainly more than we were expecting anyway. The phone has also been ringing off the hook with well wishers but despite the enormity of what we are about to do, it doesn't feel at all like we're saying goodbye to anyone - more like we're saying 'see you later'.

I guess this is the time for Glynn and I to say our own goodbyes to you all - thanks for being such wonderful friends and family. We will certainly miss you but you know as well as I do that we're only an email, webcam or telephone call away. Until then, see you on the other side of the world!
