I have a new job and it is taking me to the Bahamas for the winter. It is going to be tough running a boat in the bahamas all winter but someone has to do it. The first order of business i getting the boat to the islands. On tuesday we left Carolina Beach before sun up and headed out to sea. We made it to Charleston SC by lunch time, we had alligator tail and cheeseburgers from Salty Mikes. We fueled up and headed out and made it to Hilton Head that evening. We had a great dinner at the Crab Shack and we crashed out before nine! We woke up and got underway before sunrise and made it to St. Agustine for lunch and we fueled up and headed out for Cape Canaveral, Fl. After waiting on a few parts Thursday morning we finally got underway and made the 160 mile crossing over to Grand Cay Bahamas.

We pulled up to Rosies bar/resturant/marina and Shawn came out in true Bahamian fashion and helped us fuel and tie up for the night. As we ate Lobster that was caught that day we talked about our trip and realized that it was going to be a great winter. The next day we cleared customs and meet Barry on Walkers Cay. When i asked him how many people live on Walkers Cay he said, "let's see, 1,2,3,4,5,6 and I make 7." After we left Barry we stayed on the inside and made it to Marsh Harbor were we tied up the boat ate lunch and hopped on the plane back home.

This is going to be a great Winter...
