So yes its been a while, but i can safely say that there will be a couple more to come in the not too distant future.
I found out i had loads of Leave left before the end of the year, and its about time i went somewhere. So after coaxing my friend Tim into it we took off to Belgium for a looksie around Brugge.

Took the Eurostar, and the beauty of taking a train across the ditch is less security to go through to board the train, but also when travelling to Belgium, our Eurostar ticket also included a connection to anywhere else in Belgium from Brussells.
Left after work on Friday, and got to our Hotel at about midnight. We crashed. The next morning it was up and out. Breakfast in a little cafe in the sun, and a wander around.
We checked out a Canal Tour, Horse and Cart Tour, Chocolate Factory Tour, Brewery Tour, one of the 200 odd Catholic Churches, the oldest Hospital in Europe - now a museum, and some windmills that were on the outskirts of town a wee bit out of the tourist areas. Tried some Chocolade, and also the Beer.

This tower has something like 350 odd steps to the top. It has a lean of 1.5m although my photo seems to exaggerate it a little.
Belgium do really great Beer. A couple were consummed. Back to London Sunday night. Had a great time, the photos will tell the story and show how pretty it all is.
