We sailed during the night and awoke off the coast of South Plaza Island. On disembarking, we found ourselves in the middle of a big sealion colony, with the male actively defending his territory by barking at us a lot.

We also saw a lot of land iguanas (which were yellow instead of black like the marine iguanas) and dove tailed gulls.

In the afternoon, we sailed to Santa Fe Island and snorkelled just off the coast, with sealions darting about underneath us playfully. As well as this, we saw more reef fish, plus sting and eagle rays.

We took a walk on the island afterwards and saw more iguanas and sealions, plus a number of giant cacti, though in all honesty they didn't actually seem that big. Maybe it's just because I'm tall.
