Edit Blog Post

Since arriving in New Zealand i've had a lot of really weird dreams. My brother as a coke-head yuppie being attacked by half dog, half human things; i was the god of day and had to kill the god of night; and the worst was when i was watching a guy who wanted to kill some cops. However, he knew when you do, the system will come down incredibly hard on you, so before doing so, he injected himself with cockroach eggs. He kills the cops, and is thrown in prison, then lying in his cells cuts his face open with a knife, coackraoches escape and eat his head etc etc Weird.
However, in poetry related news (which, i know is always your favourite type of news). There was a pig-ugly wall in the wwoofing lodge i was staying in, so we decided to paint over it. Seth, the American artist, painted a beautiful mural, and i wrote two poems which were incorporated into it. As you can (hopefully) see it's fantastic, and my first (kinda) published poem.
The English girls who i mentioned in my last blog are coming with me to my next wwoofing spot in Coromandel (Emma, Lorna and Sophie from Shropshire) and they are awesome, i get there on thursday and them on friday. Anyway, they (along with a fantastic girl named Klara) wrote me a poem (should be attached) and painted it as a good-bye. So sweet, it put me in such a good mood.
Right now i'm in the tourist trap that is Rotorua, with its Maori attractions and thermal pools its full of terrible Americans and other aliens. It took me 4 hitches to travel the 40km to here, and finally got a list with a maori guy in a huge (i mean HUGE) lorry which was exciting. Tomorrow i go to Coromandel which is supposed to be heart-stoppingly beautiful and wwoof for a while at a 'creative retreat' there.
So all is good with me, its been nice to have some friends for a while, and will be nice to meet with them on friday. Travelling on your own is not always fun. I shall say bye now as ai can see my money ticking away before my eyes, keep in touch
