Got back from the Gobi tour two days ago. It was really fantastic out there. So many different types of landscape. Did some hiking, horse riding, camel riding under the stars, had alot of strange food, played alot of Uno, bounced around in our van, woke up in a 0 degree ger every morning, ate too much chocolate and had many many laughs.

Felt good though to come back to UB and to go to a real toilet, Not just a smelly hole in the ground, and to have a shower and most of all, put on new clean clothes. Have been living in my green thermol top since i left Moscow three weeks ago..

The day we got back me, Larissa and Finn had decided to go to a Mongolian bbq place I went to with some guys before we left on the tour (the meat is just wonderful). But as always when we have planed to go somewhere on our own, we end up being a big bunch of people instead. So we were 16 persons leving the hostel for dinner and then to an Irish pub (why are there so many Irish pubs around the world?). When the pub closed the party continued in Finns's 6 square meter room.. Not much space but alot of fun.

Feels like all I been doing since I got back from the tour is eating. Is so many good restaruants and so cheap! You eat and eat and eat and drink and drink but it never costs more than 50 kr. Like it!

Today is both a sad and an excting day though. I'm leaving Mongolia but most of all I'm leaving Kerry and Larissa for a while and Finn for quite a long time. I feel that I have to come to Beijing before the weekend so i don't have to wait til monday to apply for my Visa for Vietnam. And since there only are two direct trains per week from UB to Beijing I have to do it the hard core way. Boght a ticket yesterday to the Mogolian border city (30 kr for 15 hours train journey!). From there I somehow have to cross the border on my own. Probably by taxi. Will then come to the Chinease border town where I have to get a bus ticket to Beijing. Will be very interesting to see how this goes. Have a Scotish girl, Fiona, with me and we are full of optimism!

Larissa and Kerry will then arrive in Beijing on friday (me the night between wednesday and thursday) so it's many days without them but considering we have been together 24/7 for three weeks it feels a bit weird.

What else, oh yeh, I've got my hair cut for 10 kr! since no one really speak english around here, the woman running the hostel, wrote a note how I wanted it. Just handed the note to the hairdresser and it went all really fine actually.

So next time I'll write here I've started part 2 of my trip, the China part. Am very excited about it. Have some sort of route I think I'm gonna do but nothing is certain so I'll just see what happens.

Have fun you all
