Hey gang! I don't have much time but I just wanted to let you know that I am safely back in the captail of Mongolia with all of my fingers and toes attached. A taimen (aka the giant trout) tried to take a finger tip with him, but I fought back! Mongolia has been amazing! I honestly didn't want to leave the field station. I think I could have stayed out there at least another month until it got really really cold then I might be ready to go. I have tons of stories to tell and lots of pictures to share. One of my goals for the next few days is to put together a little slide show for you guys. It would be too complicated to explain everything that happend out there so I figure since pictures are worth a thousand words, a nice long slide show should do the job for now. Today it's luandry and relaxing and tomorrow I'm attending a conference for the taimen in UB. I'm trying to plan a trip to the gobi desert too so things will be busy but i promise to keep you all updated! Hope you are well! Gotta go!

FINGER BAIT
How would I go about tying a "finger fly" and does it matter wich finger. Fishing with finger tips would not be considered appropriate for successful catch and release. Can't wait for slide show.
