hello from agra home of the Taj

Hi everyone thought we'd say hi as we've been on our own now for just over a week.its been abit of an adventure getting here,it took us over 24hours of travelling from kathmandu via a night bus then cycle rickshaw through customs which was easier than expected, then another bus then a tuk tuk then 6hrs wait at gorakphur train station watching cows dogs and rats happily wander through the station and its platforms.the train finally got us into lucknow at around 10pm and we stayed at the not so "grand' hotel.the next day we spent a further 12 hours at the train station for our train at 11.30pm.we arrived in agra early inthe morning and have been here for the last 3days,the Taj Mahal is amazing and we've also spent the days winding down a little as its been a hectic month.at the taj when we were lying down having a break we had quite alot of indian tourists wanting to take their photos with us,when we asked why one group of girls said we are a lovely couple and i look like "jesus' LOL. Ihave also been likened to some filmstar and wrestler and we've only been here 3days.
its been nice to have a few days off and we've had chance to try some of the local food which is gorgeous,we're heading down to ranthambore tonight for a few days of tiger spotting hopefully,anyway love lots for now and we'll keep you updated when we can. :-)
