Arrived in Athens!

Hi All! We made it! We are SOOO tired! We hardly slept at all o the plane (not that we didn't try!). Friday night before we left we slept from 2am to 4am. Then we had to get up and head to the airport for our 7am flight. I'd guess maybe 2 hours of sleep is what we got on the plane, which puts us at about 4 hours sleep in the last 48 hours! The good thing about this is we're heading to bed early tonight (probably by 8pm) and should sleep the whole night thru and wake up tomorrow on greek schedule.

So, the bad news is my luggage was lost! Joe's made it finr (of course), but mine was either left in San Diego, or left in New York during the transfer. The airport said it will arrive tomorrow on another flight and they are transporting it to my hotel by 4pm (so they say). Keep your fingers crossed for me. Thankfully, I had a change of clothes in my carry on. So I will survive.

Bubba, I know you're wondering where my first attempts at posting pictures may be. Well, my USB cable to the camera is in my luggage somewhere out in space. So although I have a great picture of Joe sleeping on the plane with his mouth wide open and an eyemask on his face, you will have to wait another day for that. With any luck tomorrow I'll master the picture posting, and this blog thing will be 100 times better.

Before I go, I need to let you all know that this place is CRAWLING (no pun intended) with kitties! Everywhere! And no, not ust cats, but baby kittens. I've already taken a few of there pictures (hopefully to be posted tomorrow) and tried to bring at least two back to our room. Although they all seem to be stray, it seems the neighborhood tends to take care of them. They appear pretty healthy and there are randoms bowls of milk and food out for them.

Tomorrow we head to the Acropilos (probably spelled wrong but I'm too damn tired to care). I will upday you guys on the tomorrows activities after some sleep!

Bubba, tell Chloe I love her! And don't forget to feed her!
