Where I live
My room is the first window on the left out of the series of three windows. The Speech and Language Department is housed in the adjoined building on the second floor. I have figured out how to upload pictures so that's mostly what this entry will be...it'll take me a while to get them all loaded on here and by then, I'll be out of time.
There has been one new development though and it is that I am moving!!!!! I met with a girl called Claire last night after I got home from London and I think it's going to work out alright. I'll have my own room with shared use of the lounge, kitchen, and bath. Still just a bathtub, but at least it has the little attachment for a shower head. Very exciting, indeed! I'll move and be in 1 October. Yea!
I also have a temporary mobile phone that one of the women I work with lent me (it used to be her son's) until I can get my own set up. Email me if you want the number and I'll try to send it to you. :-)
I've taken pictures of the outside of my new place and today I went to Forty Hall as part of the London Open House so I'll put pix of those up as well. But I have to
My room, first view
This is my room. Not very homey yet, but getting the duvet was a big step in the right direction. load pictures onto MY computer, transfer them to jumpdrive, go to library and then get them onto the site....probably won't happen until at least tomorrow. Cheers!
